Recycling Life - Do-it-yourself

As you may have read from my other postings I am easing into a Recycling Life.  I spend the majority of my free funds on craft items and project stuff… well with 2 babies and only one working adult it got to be not a whole lot.  So now I try to look at old clothing and thrift store finds and things I already own as my source of new raw material.  This last posting on how to recycle catalogs was my favorite yet and in that spirit I was looking through recycling sites.

I found a really informative page that talks about how to stop the different forms of junk mail.  When I’ve tried to stop catalogs I just end up spending a lot of time on the phone and usually hang up exasperated.  The suggestion from the Do-it-yourself, stop junk mail site using the Postal Service form made me chuckle.  I can’t wait to apply a little more humor to my efforts to stop this type of waste.
