Making Dollies

So today I sat down and hated all the noses on my recycled dolls, then I hated the lips and so now they have new noses and new lips - the fastest face lift ever!!! It’s so funny when I finally look at something in a whole new light and hate them. I was looking over my dolls and considering a new craft fair and I didn’t want them to have little ‘piggy’ noses any more.

I have a line where if something has taken me over a day to make then I revisit it and revisit it - I really do want it to be happy with it… And there are other times when I’ve done something that is short and quick and I don’t look at it again because I don’t want the feeling I had when I made it to be ruined by new revisions, in these cases it’s just best to make new things and enjoy the way things evolve.
