I love the beautiful blue flower on the pin point dots!!! Still working my way through my recycling bag of baby clothes, I can’t seem to get enough.
Tips for your own Baby Recycling Project
- Clean the clothing one more time, and be sure to prewash all fabric – this will make sure that the first time through the wash doesn’t ruin any hard work
- Machine appliqué works best if you stitch around each shape at least 2 to 3 times, this way the fray fabric won’t be too crazy
- Use a backing fabric – I used little flannel baby blankets, the fabric is cute and will be soft on baby’s tummy, it is also heavy enough to give the feed dogs on your sewing machine something to work with – this will make sure your stitches look good.
Good luck! Let me know at thierecycledlife@gmail.com

Cute! Now I wish I had a babe so I could make something similar.
